From 6 month onwards and we operate a 1:3 ratio
Our baby room caters for babies from 6mth onwards and we operate a 1:3 ratio.
Our baby room is a large space devoted to the care and well-being of our younger children, within the creche. Our baby room is a bright, airy, and relaxed environment which feels cozy and spacious at the same time. We know it is not easy to leave your little one in someone else’s care but here at Rathfarnham Day Care our hand-picked professional practitioners are here to help and support all our families. We will take the time to discuss your baby’s individual routine and by working together we can ensure it is a smooth transition from home to the creche.
Our Toddler Rooms
Our babies get to explore a wide range of activities throughout their day ranging from, sensory play, creative play, construction play, music and movement, large and small physical play, treasure baskets, tummy time to name but a few. Our babies will also get the chance to explore our purpose-built age-appropriate garden. We strongly believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.
The nursery for our sleeping babies is monitored physically every 10 minutes and there are individual cots available.
Nutritious Meals
Our two creative and hardworking chefs Lisa and Gillan provide nutritious meals which include all the stages of weaning. We also cater for all dietary needs.
We advise a settling-in period the week before your baby is due to start at the creche as this will help support the transitions period for both you and your baby, allows your baby to become familiar with their new surroundings this also gives you time to meet with your baby’s practitioners.
